All-New RAM 1500 Engine Options

Two available engines are at the heart of RAM 1500 capability, and each one is available or fitted as standard with a state-of-the-art eTorque mild hybrid system that swaps out the old-fashioned alternator for a 48-volt battery-powered, belt-driven motor generator to improve everything from towing power to efficiency.

All-New RAM 1500 engine options include:

  • 3.6L Pentastar® V6 with eTorque: Offers up to a Best-in-Class standard V6 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, plus a Best-in-Class 4×4 driving range of up to 624 miles.
  • 5.7L HEMI® V8: Makes up to 395 and 410 lb-ft of torque.
  • 5.7L HEMI® V8 with eTorque Mild Hybrid System: Makes up to 395 and 410 lb-ft of torque, plus Best-in-Class available V8 4×4 combined fuel economy and available V8 4×4 highway driving range
