Chrysler is one of the most trusted auto brands because of its long track record of producing reliable, practical, and upscale vehicles. For 2022, the American automaker seeks to sharpen its competitive edge with the release of three exceptionally well-built models. Let’s take a look at the 2022 Chrysler lineup to see if you can find something that strikes your fancy.

2023 Chrysler 300

If you’re thinking of getting a sedan, the Chrysler 300 is worth your consideration. This full-size car offers a great blend of performance, comfort, and technology, making it an excellent choice for a wide range of buyers. With a base manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $33,740, the 300 is available in four trim levels: the base Touring, Touring L, and the performance-oriented 300S V6 and 300S V8.

The Chrysler 300 comes standard with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that produces 292 horsepower in the Touring models and 300 horsepower in the 300S V6. This engine enables the sedan to get off the line quickly and handle most driving tasks confidently. However, if you enjoy going for the occasional spirited drive, it’s recommended that you opt for the 300S V8, which comes equipped with a 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that generates a class-leading 363 horsepower. Both engines work with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Regardless of which engine you choose, the 300 delivers a smooth and comfortable ride. Its well-tuned suspension enables it to stay well-planted around corners and soak up bumps and potholes with ease. The 300S models are fitted with a performance suspension to provide a more engaging driving experience.

The Chrysler 300 has a seating capacity of five. Both the front and rear seats offer a generous amount of legroom, enough to keep even tall adults comfortable. The seats are well-cushioned and supportive, which is a boon on long-distance trips. Additionally, you’ll find a long list of standard features in the 300, including dual-zone automatic climate control, push-button start, a six-speaker audio system, an 8.4-inch touch-screen display, USB ports, satellite radio, HD radio, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

2023 Chrysler Pacifica

In recent years, the Chrysler Pacifica has been one of the best-selling minivans, and for a good reason. It’s a truly well-made vehicle that excels in almost every department, from ride quality and fuel economy to comfort and utility. The 2022 model starts at $37,095 and comes in four trims: the entry-level Touring, Touring L, Limited, and the range-topping Pinnacle.

The first thing you’ll notice about the Chrysler Pacifica is that it somewhat resembles an SUV. Its tapered nose, steeply raked windshield, and gently sloping roof-line make it look sleek and elegant. A strong shoulder line and sculpted side panels give it an athletic appeal. If you want to make a striking statement on the road, this is the minivan for you.

Besides being good-looking, the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica is a potent people-hauler. The minivan gets its power from a 3.6-liter V-6 engine rated at 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels or, optionally, all four wheels via a nine-speed automatic transmission. With this combination, the Pacifica can get up to speed briskly and deliver solid passing power on the highway. It can tow up to 3,600 pounds when properly equipped.

On the inside, the Chrysler Pacifica features a refined cabin replete with soft-touch surfaces and premium materials that give it a sense of luxury. It also provides excellent outward visibility in all directions and a quiet ride. In its standard configuration, the minivan can seat up to eight people. All three rows are spacious enough to accommodate adults comfortably. This Chrysler model comes standard with cloth upholstery, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats.

If you frequently go on road trips or need to transport a lot of cargo, you’ll appreciate the Pacifica’s expansive cargo space. You’ll have 32.3 cubic feet of storage space behind the rearmost seats, 87.5 cubic feet with those seats folded, and an incredible 140.5 cubic feet with the middle- and third-row seats down.

Another appealing aspect of the Chrysler Pacifica is that it comes with a generous list of standard infotainment features. The minivan is fitted with a 10.1-inch touch-screen display, three USB ports, Bluetooth, satellite radio, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a six-speaker sound system. As for active safety features, it offers forward-collision alert, forward automatic emergency braking, pedestrian monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, lane-departure alert, blind-spot detection, automatic high-beam headlamps, a rearview camera, rear cross-traffic warning, rear parking sensors, and rear-occupant alert.

2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid

The 2023 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the only plug-in hybrid minivan available in the United States. With a minimum price of $46,978, this minivan is offered in three trims: the Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle.

The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid mainly differs from its gasoline-powered sibling in that it uses a plug-in-hybrid powertrain. This powertrain consists of a V-6 engine and a pair of electric motors, which combine for a total output of 260 horsepower. Paired with a refined continuously variable transmission, it delivers a fuel economy rating of 82 mpg-equivalent with the electric motors running or 30 mpg combined with the V-6 engine alone. Also, it can travel up to 32 miles using only electricity.

Another major difference is that the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid can only accommodate seven people at the most. Furthermore, you’ll find many additional standard comfort and convenience features in this version of the Pacifica, including leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver’s seat with memory settings, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, tri-zone automatic climate control, remote start, cabin air filtering, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The minivan also gets extra tech and safety features such as voice recognition, HD radio, Amazon Alexa, rain-sensing windshield wipers, front parking sensors, automatic parking assistance, a 360-degree parking camera system, and an electronic brake.
